For those that don't know what a Chumby is (be carefully if you manually enter Chumby into a URL - a typo could result in something not work-safe), visit the website.
Curious how I use it? Take a look at the bottom of my blog for my Virtual Chumby showing my "Fun Stuff" channel. In fact, all of my channels are "fun!"
Several folks have said - I don't get it - doesn't your computer do all that?
- Reed RSS
- Follow Twitter
- Look at Flickr photos
- Get Traffic & Weather updates
- Have interactive features (making noise, moving objects, etc.)
My computer does indeed do all this and more - it is for work. Computer for work; Chumby for fun. Simple as that.
It sits on "the best workstation in the world" at my home office; gets juice from my airport extreme; and is on when I work at home.
