From what I gather, Americans are consistent with their New Year's Resolutions:
- Lose Weight
- Manage Debt/Save Money
- Get a Better Job
- Get Fit/Eat Right
- Get a Better Education
- Drink Less Alcohol
- Quit Smoking
- Reduce Stress Overall/at Work
- Go Somewhere
- Volunteer

Here are mine:
1. Learn to roll a kayak (first lesson is January 11 – so I'm getting an early start)
2. Enjoy the good things life has to offer
3. Spend less time on what doesn't provide value
4. Get the blood pressure down.
5. Take Mother In Law to Nova Scotia and visit my mother there
Happy New Year!
Ok.
May - October 2008, I went kayaking once a month.
(Sat in my first kayak in May - tried out surf kayaking in September.)
Surf kayaking, as far as I'm concerned, has changed everything for me. While I enjoy the graceful paddling of a 16 foot sea kayak, those little surf kayaks are what I really want to be in.
And...
Osprey Sea Kayak Adventures looks like they are going to have
Riot Kayaks for 2009!
Nice. Something to look forward to! That, plus the rolling clinic I'll be taking in January.
Take a look at some of these
Riot Kayaks in action - something to look at and remind me why I'm working for the man.
